Discovery campers live primarily in cabins on Bluestone’s main campus. Most meals are eaten in the main lodge dining hall. There are two levels to the Discovery Program.
DISCOVERY 1 is for rising 4/5 graders.
Camper groups gather each evening at their “Home-in-the-Woods” which is a small group meeting space in a wooded area that is in close proximity to the cabins where Discovery campers are lodged. There they will participate in vespers and enjoy a snack by campfire light.
DISCOVERY 2 is for rising 6/7 graders.
In addition to the “Home-in-the-Woods” experience, camper groups will tent camp (one or two nights weather permitting) and experience breakfasts cooked over an open fire.
Discovery Camps are offered every week of Summer Camp.
