ABOUT OUR SUMMER CAMPING PROGRAM
Bluestone’s primary mission is our Summer Camping Program. Our traditional small group camping experience creates an atmosphere where campers may begin to assume responsibility for living a Christian lifestyle, and become nurtured in faith. You can read our different program descriptions by clicking on the links above.
Our “all-camp” activities are designed to engage every age group at camp together at once in common experiences to model living and being within a larger community context. We work intentionally to create an environment that is physically, psychologically and theologically safe. If you have specific questions about what we mean when we say this, please do not hesitate to contact us and we’ll talk!
With our Family Camp option, we want to encourage families and others to become more a part of what we’ve always done at Bluestone, which is, to live more fully into Christian community through the shared experience of camp. It’s “friendship for a lifetime and a family that grows…” In a nutshell, that’s Bluestone!
Our excellent counselor staff of college-age young adults and adult program volunteers will engage you in a wide range of camping activities which include swimming, canoeing, campfires, cookouts, climbing wall, hiking, field games, crafts, singing, skits, picnics, worship, and Bible study. Get ready for a fun-filled week in the mountains! Find the week of camp that is best for you and register early!
