Our 480 acres is a part of approximately 19,000 acres owned by the Army Corp of Engineers. There are miles of hiking trails and old logging roads to explore. Bluestone Lake is a magnificent 2,040-acre reservoir on the New River behind the Bluestone Dam at Hinton, WV. A public boat launch and access to 10.7 miles of open water is just one-quarter of a mile down the road. On-premises, we have a large swimming pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

There is a shower house near the pool and a pavilion for group cookouts and picnics. There is basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and a Climbing Wall available for our guests. We also have ping pong, pool, and foosball tables in our common gathering area, and plenty of wide open spaces for field games.

Canoeing and kayaking are available by special arrangement. Whitewater Rafting opportunities are within a 90-minute drive, and there are several golf courses and state parks within a 60-minute drive of Bluestone. The Indian Creek section of the Bluestone Wildlife Management Area is within a 30-minute drive.
